Shamall - Who do they think they are 2 CD
Product Description
Review: "...Shamall got his inspiration for the new album directly from George Bush. Norbert Krueler - better known as Shamall - had finished his new album almost entirely, as the war against Iraq began. As he heard the words from the US president George Bush and his allies at that time, he threw his almost completed album in the trash and created a quite new concept. [...].
While Shamall wrote pure instrumental songs in the past, because he refuses singing for his goals, on the new album the audience has the pleasant experience to discover him as vocalist. The concept-album right around war and faith has just demanded this.
Musically Shamall still remains truely to his old heroes (lush ornamental artrock and psychedelic soundtrips à la Pink Floyd), whereas he's well acquainted with current chill-out and ambient-sounds and combines them with modern electronics and powerful rock guitars as well ...."
